A very long parliamentary session was expected today, where the government program would be presented and the new government cabinet would be voted on.

Prime Minister Edi Rama began his speech with a warning to the opposition, saying that if violence is used, the voting process would be immediately postponed.

As Rama gave the floor to Diella, the opposition stood up, creating noise and seemingly slamming their hands on the tables.

This situation led to the interruption of the session for 5 minutes, which continued the same after its return.

Parliamentary group leader Taulant Balla requested a vote after the opposition was preventing the prime minister from presenting the government's program.

This caused even more anger among the opposition, which rose to the podium and began to throw everything they had at the cabinet.

This chaos has also caused the Spanish ambassador to Albania, Gabriel Cremades Ventura, to put his hands on his head due to all the tensions created./ CNA
