"May God give you enlightenment"/ His Beatitude, John congratulates

The Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all Albania, His Beatitude, Joan, has conveyed his congratulations to the two new Metropolitans, namely the Metropolitan of Korça, Anastasius, and the Metropolitan of Gjirokastra, Nathanael.

In his congratulations, His Beatitude prayed that God would grant the new Metropolitans health, enlightenment, and long life.

Further, His Beatitude said that the Orthodox Church is a Church of prayer and everyone needs prayer.

" We pray that God will grant the new Metropolitans health, long life and enlightenment. Prayer has great power and our Church believes in prayer, it is a Church of prayer. We all need prayer. The High Priests must pray for the Church and the Church must pray for the High Priests. This is how a unique unity is achieved. This is how the Church has been for centuries.
