A few hours before the start of the opposition protest, preparations are nearing the end for such an event. The following photos clearly show the situation on the boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit", where traffic is also blocked.

The police have placed a metal fence in front of the Prime Minister's Office, which is also the area where the citizens will gather.

Meanwhile, the podium is being set up from where the leaders of the opposition will speak.

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha will not be present at today's protest, as he is under "house arrest", but he is expected to address the citizens with a video message.

Meanwhile, CNA learned that more than 1,400 protesters have left Korça District for Tirana with private vehicles. 

The road segments that are blocked 2 hours before the start of the protest until its end are:

"Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, "Mother Teresa" square, "Ismail Qemali" street, from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rugova" street, "Papa John Paul II" street, "Zhan D'Ark" boulevard and " Bajram Curri", from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rugova" Street./ CNA
