A fire of considerable proportions engulfed the Koshnica mountain in the Skënderbeg area, in the Gramsh municipality, during Friday evening.

Media reports indicate that the flames are active in a deep and inaccessible area, making it almost impossible for firefighters to intervene from the ground.

The rugged terrain and lack of access roads are significantly complicating the situation.

So far, the fire is reported far from residential areas and poses no immediate danger to residents, but authorities are on alert and are closely monitoring its development to avoid spreading.
