Thousands of Orthodox believers gathered in Tirana to participate in the traditional rite of passage under the epitaph, one of the most important moments of Holy Week.
The ceremony takes place as part of the Good Friday rites and includes the solemn procession of the epitaph, which is attended by a large number of believers in the capital.
The procession is led by the Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania, His Beatitude Joan.
