Albania now also has an Olympic medal, thanks to wrestler Chermen Valiev. The Albanian-Chechen managed to triumph in the final for the third place in the 74 kg category, to receive the bronze medal, which is the first in history for Albania.

After this news, Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted, who in this case also made propaganda, saying that this speaks for the work of the Reborn Albanian Olympic Committee.

According to Rama, this victory marks the beginning of a new story, which in years will bring other joyful fruits thanks to the massive sports movement for children and the massive investments in gyms and sports infrastructure that will continue.
