Journalist Blendi Fevziu has reacted to the case of brutal violence by sisters Antonela and Mariela Berisha against blogger Klea Prenga.

Fevziu emphasizes in his reaction that this is an alarm bell for Albanian society that shows how much it has deteriorated.

The journalist conveys the important message by underlining that "if you want Albanian society to move forward, avoid violence, condemn violence, violence is criminal and is not tolerated by anyone for any reason".

"A video that went viral on social networks shows a girl being slaughtered in the face. If you refer to the online media that have spread the case and investigated it, it is about the massacre of a girl by two other girls for reasons of jealousy.

I don't know any of the characters involved in this conflict and I can't repeat their names, I don't have and will never want to go into the motives that led to this event.

What I wanted to emphasize is that this event is an alarm bell for the entire Albanian society. It is an alarm bell that shows how much the Albanian society has fallen and degraded, where problems and disputes are solved only through violence.

We have had cases where Albanian male society has resolved disputes, quarrels, conflicts through the use of violence and eliminations between them. It was one of the most primitive elements of the Albanian society, but the inclusion of girls and women with an element of violence and the only resolution of disputes through violence shows that this society has a serious degradation, there is a degradation that we should not allow.

The solution through violence is a characteristic of unemancipated societies, primitive societies which do not deserve to be called civil societies and still more do not deserve to be called European societies.

Maybe it is our fault and all of us who promote such characters and figures that bring them to the center of attention, but I insist once again if you want Albanian society to move forward, avoid violence, condemn violence, violence is criminal, it is not tolerated for anyone no motive", said Blendi Fevziu./ CNA
