Eid al-Fitr in Korça/ Message from Mufti Ledian Cikalleshi

Muslim believers in the Korça region celebrate tomorrow the Eid al-Fitr holiday, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his official message, the Mufti of Korça, Ledian Cikalleshi, congratulated all believers on this holy day, describing Eid al-Fitr as a moment of reflection, solidarity and rapprochement between people.

He emphasized that the month of Ramadan serves as a period of dedication, sacrifice, and sharing with others, where the values ??of equality and piety take on special meaning.

According to the mufti, the spiritual atmosphere of this month should serve as inspiration to strengthen human ties and build a more just and solidary society.

The Eid al-Fitr prayer ceremony in the city of Korça will take place in front of the "Iljas Bej Mirahori" mosque.

The program starts at 06:20, while the Eid prayer will be performed at 06:50. In other areas, believers will gather in the respective mosques.

Meanwhile, traditional receptions and congratulations will be organized at the Korça Mufti's premises from 10:00 to 11:30.

Dear Muslim believers of the Korça region, sisters and brothers!

On behalf of the Mufti of the Korça Zone and on my own behalf, I wish you a happy Eid al-Fitr, a day of reward, spiritual harmony, solidarity, brotherhood and coming closer to each other.

We are eagerly awaiting the Blessed Month of Ramadan, with the great hope that God has forgiven our sins and accepted our prayers, worship, and sacrifice.

Ramadan taught us that the blessings and blessings that the Almighty has given us, take on meaning only when they are shared with others with the aim of gaining God's pleasure. This glorious month taught us that the iftar table is the table of brotherhood, between believers, brothers and friends, between the rich and the poor. We are all equal before the Creator, the difference is only in piety, dedication and sincerity in the good deed we do.

The spiritual atmosphere we experienced during the blessed month of Ramadan strengthens and motivates us to see the Eid al-Fitr celebration as a day of new hopes, as a day of remembrance and solidarity with one another, as a day of renewal of love for man and humanity.

Eid al-Fitr is tomorrow, Friday, March 20, 2026. The prayer ceremony for the two mosques in the city will take place in front of the courtyard of the old "Iljas Bej Mirahori" mosque, while in other areas in the respective mosques.

All believers, men and women, children and the elderly, are welcome to participate in the Eid prayer ceremony, which begins at 06.20 and culminates with the Eid prayer at 06.50.

The reception and congratulations ceremony will take place at the Korça Mufti's premises between 10:00 and 11:30.
