Journalist Eni Ferhati said in the show Now with Erla Mëhilli in Euronews Albania that the former mayor of Durrës Vangjush Dako after two days has the last chance to leave the cell after he appealed to the Supreme Court.

He emphasized that this is his last chance to get an easier security measure. 

"Starting from the accusation of abuse of office, we will see many more mayors under investigation. Let's take the case of Dako, who tomorrow has the last chance to get out of the cell, after he made an appeal to the Supreme Court and this is his last chance to benefit from a lighter measure of security. Vangjush Dako is accused of abuse of office 11 years ago. With this standard, every mayor, even in Tirana, all the mayors, if you give them a development permit, they would all be left on the net, right and left", said the journalist.

We remind you that Vangjush Dako was arrested on June 6 by order of the Special Prosecutor's Office under the suspicion that he has misused his duties in two cases. /CNA
