The property expert, Gjergj Begaj explained in the Now show on Euronews Albania the origin of the property conflict in Cape Rodoni that led to the arrest of 8 people, including former MP Mark Frroku.

He indicated that the conflict between the three parties, the church, the residents and the tenant company, started with the fence but is based on the overlapping of properties due to law 7501.

"Each property today has its own restrictions on the certificate and the indicative map, and every citizen must obtain a fence permit. A simple fence has been made here, today ASHK is working on introducing digital maps into the system. We have an overlap of properties; the citizen who claims to have a surface that he took with 7501. Today we should have a unified map that we don't have, with which all institutions should work, overlaps are what create conflict", said the expert.
