'Toyota Yaris' file/ Preliminary hearing at the GJKKO postponed

The first preliminary hearing at the GJKKO for the "Toyota Yaris" case is postponed.

This file examines the case of former Chief Prosecutor Aurel Zarka.

The reason for the postponement was the lack of legitimacy of the parties. The GJKKO ordered the lawyers of the wanted persons to present powers of attorney signed by the accused themselves.

Meanwhile, Zarka, who is the only one arrested, was not present at this hearing, but was represented by his defense lawyers.

The next session was scheduled for February 20 at 9:00 AM.

The case is currently being reviewed by Judge Erion Çela in the preliminary phase.

The former BKH agent, Erjon Daupaj, Astrit Vladi and lawyer Radovan Çela are wanted for this file.

Prosecutors have divided the file into other factions and investigations continue for other people involved. / CNA
