"Someone who makes 4 billion grapes and plums has 4 million tips"/

Journalist Armand Shkullaku spoke this evening about Kanye West's concert in Tirana, which he said was a failed organization and the reason for this, according to him, was that there was no protest.

Invited to Syri TV, Shkullaku said that there was no ticket control at the concert, while adding that the tickets that were purchased with the 4 million euro fund were distributed for free to those with connections to the government.

The journalist also said that Prime Minister Edi Rama's speeches and statements are "symptoms of an autocrat."

"Rama's words clearly express the symptoms of an autocrat who is nearing his end. People who have two minds don't come out to speak. Coming out and talking about a concert is an indication that this is a man who has been left to explain about the economy, aesthetics, speech, towers, NATO, flamingos, and bloggers. I think these are the last squirms. In front of a man who has made 4 billion grapes and plums, 4 million are tips. People are in the streets not because he is making expenses for which transparency should be made, but because he is doing this based on a personal need. If the concert were to fail, it would be read as if Rama is failing to gather people and the protest has managed to ruin the concert by not participating. So he bought the tickets himself. Meanwhile, those who bought tickets for 300 euros, 200 euros, when they went there saw "There is no ticket control. Anyone who came from the street could attend because the stadium was empty. I don't believe there is anyone in Albania who would spend so much money on a concert. The tickets that were bought with taxpayers' money were distributed for free because the concert was a failure not because of the protest but for other reasons," said Shkullaku. /CNA
