DP leader Sali Berisha visited protesters injured during the protest in the hospital.
Berisha shared a video of one of the injured protesters, saying he was treated brutally in the police station cell and was immediately taken to the hospital.
Among other things, Berisha says that the protesters have been placed under police guard and in intensive care.
The Democratic leader has strongly condemned the brutal violence against protesters, which he said was carried out by drug gangs.
"Last night, the peaceful rebel Gentian Tuga was treated brutally in the police station cell and urgently brought to the hospital. The drug lords have put police guards in intensive care.
"I condemn in the strongest possible terms the savage violence against the peaceful rebel Gentian Tuga by bandits in uniform," Berisha stressed./ CNA
