The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi, head of the Department of Environment in the Democratic Party, will appear this Wednesday at SPAK.

It is reported that SPAK will communicate to them the charges related to the investigation for the former "Partizani" complex.

Berisha will go to SPAK at 12:00, while Malltezi at 14:00.

At the time when the head of the Democratic Party will appear, at 12:00, a protest by the opposition and supporters of Berisha will take place in front of this institution. The protest was called by the head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi.

We remind you that since December 30, the chairman of the DP is under house arrest.

The Special Prosecutor's Office accuses the former prime minister of "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials", carried out in cooperation with his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezin.

SPAK claims that Berisha, in his capacity as Prime Minister, favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex and that Malltezi was the direct beneficiary.
