The US Embassy supports Duman and SPAK

The Embassy of the United States of America in Tirana has supported the head of SPAK Altin Duman and the investigations of the Special Prosecutor's Office in the fight against corruption, where arrest warrants were recently issued for the Tirana incinerator affair.

The charge d'affaires at the US Embassy in Tirana, David Winser, has stated that Albania has made progress in the fight against corruption.

Winser, during an interview, says that Albania has support in the Reform of Justice.

"Albania has made progress in the fight against corruption. Make it clear that no one is above the law. The US supports your anti-corruption efforts. Albania has support for the Justice Reform. Organized crime hinders economic development. The elected should work for the people", said Winser./ CNA
