"Is it good that we are worried?"/ Korreshi: The Minister of Health

Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi, during his speech in the Assembly, expressed criticism for the absence of the Minister of Health, Evis Sala, in the Assembly.

Korreshi said that the minister has no idea what happens in hospitals and has no idea about the change in medicine prices. Ironically, the MP said that the minister should be "declared a missing person." 

"First of all, is she okay? We need to ask her health. Is it good that we are worried? Does she know that she is a minister or not? She could not leave the assembly like that. The disease does not wait like she says at the end of the year. She does not wait. And if you do not know where she is, we should declare her missing. She did not know that the medicines had become more expensive.

What is this Minister of Health doing? To get an emergency today, I have to dial 127 to connect to Tirana, then I have to call the one in Lushnja. I didn't want to prove to the people at home what healthcare is. Tell her what happens in Albanian hospitals because I don't know. A patient has to wait for an hour and a half because there is no cardiologist. There is neither cotton in Lushnja, nor gloves. Who is responsible? The hospital is moved and the construction permit is not issued. How do we treat people like pigsties? At least inform them of the salary they have missed", said Korreshi. /CNA
