Prime Minister Edi Rama, invited to the "Opinion" show, spoke about the change in citizens' approach to politics, 35 years since the reflections of 1990.

Rama stated that this is a phenomenon that is observed today throughout the democratic world, emphasizing that societies have entered new stages of development. According to him, increased well-being, expanded opportunities and personal space have led people to be less interested in politics compared to the past.

The head of government added that changing social priorities have directly impacted the way citizens perceive politics, making it less central to everyday life compared to the transition period.

"This is something you can hear all over the world today, I'm talking about the democratic world, which has entered new stages where, due to increased well-being, due to increased opportunities, the spaces that people have, they are less interested than they were then, that today they have freedom and of course they are looking for other things, while back then freedom was the magnet that sucked people in," said Rama./ CNA
