25 houses are at risk of being flooded, residents are evacuated/ Hour by hour situation in Tropoja

The rains of the last two days have caused flooding in some areas of the country.

The most alarming situation appears in Tropoja in Bytyq, where 25 homes are at risk of flooding and over 30 residents have been evacuated.

There are also landslides and flooded roads in this area.

The prefect of the Kukës district, Ali Hallaçi, said in a statement to Euronea Albania that fortunately there were no casualties from the floods in Tropoja.

"The situation is a bit difficult. The rainfall is very heavy, the important thing is that there is no damage to people. In some places there was also flooding of houses. The situation is under control. We have passed the information to civil emergencies and we are waiting for a response", he said. /CNA.al
