Xavi determined, aims to lead a national team

Xavi Hernandez has announced that he is interested in continuing his career as a national team coach.

The former Barcelona coach has been without a team since May 2024, when he left the Catalan club. During his time at Barcelona, ??he won the La Liga title in the 2022/23 season and the Spanish Super Cup.

In an interview with RNE, the 45-year-old stated that working with a national team would allow him to spend more time with his family. Xavi said he would like to take part as a coach in a World Cup, European Championship, Africa Cup of Nations or Asian Cup.

Before Barcelona, ??he managed Al Sadd in Qatar, where he won seven trophies. In 143 games on the Barcelona bench, Xavi recorded 90 wins, 24 draws and 29 losses.
