The Football Federation has started work on the "Air Albania" stadium, an important infrastructure project that comes as part of the preparations for organizing the finals of the 2027 European U-21 Championship, where Albania is one of the two organizing countries.

The intervention envisages improving the field's base and installing a new hybrid grass surface, according to the highest standards required by UEFA for hosting international matches.

This investment is part of the Albanian Football Association's ongoing commitment to modernizing the country's sports infrastructure and ensuring optimal conditions for organizing major football events. The improvement of the national stadium's pitch will ensure an even higher quality of play for the participating teams.

Hosting the UEFA EURO U-21 2027 constitutes a historic moment for Albanian football and an important opportunity to promote the country on the international stage. In this context, the Albanian Football Association is continuing its work to meet all the organizational and infrastructural requirements set by UEFA.
