José Fuentes, the president of Nacional de Montevideo, confirmed that Luis Suarez will end his contract with the Uruguayan club in November. This is an expected decision due to the simple fact that the main reason why the former Barcelona striker returned to his hometown team was to get in shape for the "Qatar 2022" World Cup, which starts in November.

"The championship ends and Luis Suarez will leave Nacional. I don't want to create false expectations," José Fuentes told a television station in Uruguay.

"Luis Suarez made a great effort to come to Nacional and, every time I am asked, I say it not to create expectations for the future. He will leave and he has said it more than once, this is what we agreed from the beginning," explained Jose Fuentes.

Luis Suarez, who is 35 years old, said in his presentation with the Uruguayan club that "I have three wonderful children whose dream was to see me play for Nacional."
