6-goal spectacle, England dominates and wins against Croatia

England have made a successful start to the World Cup, defeating Croatia 4-2 in their opening Group L match.

Thomas Tuchel's team deserved the victory thanks to their dominant play throughout most of the match. Harry Kane opened the scoring in the 12th minute, but the Balkans temporarily equalized with a powerful shot by Baturina in the 36th minute.

Just 6 minutes later, the English striker headed home again to restore the lead, before Musa levelled the scores at 2-2 just before the end of the first half.

The second half started at a higher pace for the "Three Lions", who found the third goal in the 47th minute through Jude Bellingham, while Marcus Rashford sealed the victory in the 85th minute.

The score could have been even deeper, but Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic stopped several more clear-cut English chances.
