First half/ Haaland scores twice, Norway takes the lead

The Norwegian national team went into the locker room with a 2-1 lead over Iraq in the match valid for Group I of the World Cup.

The challenge started well with both teams creating quick chances, with the Iraqis taking risks with Al Hamadi, while the Norwegians responded through Erling Haaland.

It was the Manchester City striker who opened the scoring in the 29th minute, after converting an assist from Wolfe inside the area.

Iraq temporarily equalized in the 39th minute through Hussein, who converted the opportunity. However, seconds before the half-time whistle, Norway found the lead again.

Haaland took advantage of the opponent's goalkeeper's insecurity to score his second personal goal and seal the result of this faction.
