The legendary Ukrainian footballer, Andriy Shevchenko, today presented Poland's captain Robert Lewandowski with the captain's armband in the colors of Ukraine and asked him to wear it at the World Cup in Qatar this year (November 20 - December 18). .

Sheva thanked Levandovski on behalf of his compatriots for supporting Ukraine after the Russian invasion.

"Thank you for everything. What you have done has touched my heart. Our country is very thankful. I can't even describe it in words.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you do for my country. So many gestures, so much real support, hospitality for our people, are things of inestimable value.

We are already having a hard time, but the brothers from Poland are helping us. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts", said Shevchenko with tears in his eyes.
