Al Hilal CEO Esteve Calzada has revealed that the deal with Simone Inzaghi was reached before the final, but was postponed at the coach's request to respect his commitments with Inter. Inzaghi will lead the team in the Club World Cup, where Al Hilal aims to measure international level and promote Saudi football.

"Everything was decided beforehand. We didn't sign before the final because Inzaghi asked us to wait out of respect. It may seem like something unexpected, but it was the result of hard work. Inzaghi had a very important match and asked us to leave everything after the final.
