Daku's transfer to Zenit "stuck", the Black and Whites are looking for him

Mirlind Daku's transfer to Zenit has stalled for the moment, due to financial disputes between the parties.

The Albanian national team striker is demanding a salary of 3 million euros per year, while Zenit's offer is only 2.2 million euros.

Negotiations were at an advanced stage and had been confirmed by both Zenit and Rubin Kazan, but have now stalled.

Daku has had a successful season with Rubin Kazan, scoring 15 goals and providing 6 assists in 29 official matches. His performances have also attracted interest from outside Russia, including Turkish side Besiktas.

The player has a contract with Rubin Kazan until 2026. The Russian club is looking to sell him this summer to make a financial profit. The situation remains pending further developments.
