Milan reaches agreement with Albanian footballer, details revealed

Milan and Granit Xhaka have reached an agreement for the transfer of Bayer Leverkusen midfielder. The Rossoneri are ready to pay around 10 million euros for the 32-year-old, with a three-year contract worth 4 million euros per season plus bonuses.

Xhaka has accepted the terms, but the deal with the German club, which is experiencing a wide-ranging phase of change, following the departures of Wirtz, Frimpong and Tah, has yet to be closed.

Although Xhaka's final season was not at the level of his first year at Leverkusen, he has been consistent with 33 appearances in 34 Bundesliga matches.

He is now set to work with Max Allegri in a midfield that will replace Reijnders and feature Luka Modric as a teammate. The deal is expected to be finalised within days.
