25-year "marriage" ends! Muller announces departure from Bayern Munich

After 25 years together, Bayern Munich and Thomas Muller will part ways at the end of the season. 

The announcement was made by the player himself, who announced that he will leave in the summer. 

Muller said he hopes to end his career at this club with the championship title and winning the Champions League. 

With the Bayern shirt he has achieved: 247 Goals, 273 Assists, 12 Bundesliga titles and one UEFA Champions League.

"It's clear that today is anything but a day like any other for me. My 25 years as a player for FC Bayern will come to an end this summer.

It has been an extraordinary journey, marked by unique experiences, great meetings, and unforgettable titles. 

I feel great gratitude and joy to have been able to pursue this career at my beloved club. The very special bond with the club, as our fantastic fans, will always remain. What I wish as I leave should be clear: titles that we can celebrate together.

"We will give everything in the coming weeks to bring the league title back to Munich... to reach our long-awaited Champions League final at home. Let's do this!" Muller announced.
