Kosovo has scored one of the most important victories in its history, defeating Slovakia on the road and taking a giant step towards qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. This triumph has brought a wave of enthusiasm throughout the country, which has not been lacking the immediate reaction of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.

Through a post on social media, Kurti described the "Dardans" as the authors of a new chapter in Kosovar football.

 According to him, the dream of participating in the World Championship has now become more real than ever before, giving a message of hope to all Albanians wherever they are.

Albin Kurti's full reaction:

"Congratulations to Kosovo! Congratulations to the Dardanians and all Albanians wherever they are! This team with these fans, tonight have opened a new chapter in football in the country."

"We wanted it so much, that we won a lot. The World Championship has never been closer," Kurti wrote on Facebook.
