Surprise loss for Como, Juventus has the chance to break away

Sassuolo won 2-1 against Como, recording their first home success against this opponent.

The first half was dominated by Como in possession, but without any concrete results, while the home team scored twice within two minutes.

In the final minutes of the first half, Cristian Volpato scored for 1-0 after an assist from M'Bala Nzola, while two minutes later it was Nzola himself who scored for 2-0.

In first-half stoppage time, Nico Paz narrowed the deficit with a header to make it 2-1. In the second half, Como had more of the ball but failed to equalize.

Paz came close to scoring a second goal, but his effort missed the target after Stefano Turati's intervention. Sassuolo maintained their advantage and secured their fourth win in their last five home games.
