Nikaj's goal is not enough, Elbasan starts the European adventure with a draw

Elbasan started their adventure in the first round of the Conference League with a draw, ending the match against BATE Borisov in a 1-1 draw.

The Albanian team took the lead in the 46th minute with Ardit Nikaj, who completed an assist from Hebaj.

Earlier, Nikaj had also taken a chance in the 8th minute, but was stopped by the opposing goalkeeper. In the second half, BATE Borisov came close to scoring with Varska in the 46th minute.

Elbasan had opportunities to double the score in the 57th and 61st minutes, again through Nikaj. However, in the 67th minute Rusakov equalized for the Belarusian team.

The match ended 1-1, while the return match will be played on July 16 at 7:00 PM in Azerbaijan.
