AFF continues investments in infrastructure, two areas near completion

Another important investment in sports infrastructure is taking shape in Gjirokastra, with the construction of two standard-sized fields, which are expected to give a new development to football in this city.

The Albanian Football Association (AFC) in collaboration with the Municipality of Gjirokastra is working intensively to finalize the project, which has already entered its final phase. The process of laying the artificial turf has currently begun, an important step towards the full completion of the investment.

One of the fields was existing and underwent complete reconstruction, while the second field is a new investment by the Albanian Football Association as part of the "100 Fields" project, which aims to improve and expand sports infrastructure throughout the country.

This investment will directly serve the sports community, youth, and local academies, creating modern conditions for training and development.
