Modric's future, two options for the Croatian midfielder

Luka Modric will miss the final four games of the season due to a fractured cheekbone, which has been treated with surgery.

Massimiliano Allegri considers the midfielder an essential part of the project and aims to have him at the center of the team for next season.

In a three-hour meeting with leaders, including Furlani and Tara, renovation was discussed as one of the top priorities.

Modric has also received an invitation from Boban to return to Dinamo Zagreb, but has not given any positive signals about this option. Currently, his choice remains between renewing with Milan and retiring from football.

The club and teammates have shown continued support following the surgery. A final decision is expected to be made between mid-to-late June.

Milan remains optimistic about a one-year renewal with a salary of around 4.5 million euros.
