De Laurentis I will never approach a player from Africa

The president of Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has declared that he will never approach any African player, if they do not withdraw from the "Cup of Nations" of Africa.

The Napoli number 1 is not happy with the fact that they are leaving mid-season to be part of Africa's biggest tournament, leaving a void in the squad.

"I told him that I don't want you to talk to me about Africans. I love them, but when they sign, then they have to give up the African Cup of Nations, because in between that tournament, there are also the World Cup qualifiers in South America.

These players are never ready. We are the idiots who pay the salaries only to send them to play in other countries of the world", said De Laurentis.
