Today, the new academic year, 2025-2026, has begun at all universities in the country.

At the "Fan S. Noli" University of Korça, the third phase of the second round of registrations for the "Bachelor" system and two-year professional programs has been completed.

To date, a total of 482 students have been registered, or 15 more compared to the same period last year.

Of these, 369 belong to Bachelor's programs, while 113 are enrolled in two-year professional programs.

According to the data, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Humanities leads with 190 students, followed by the Faculty of Economics with 127, the Faculty of Education with 103, and the Faculty of Agriculture with 62 enrollments.

In some branches, such as French and Albanian Language-Literature and Minority Languages, no students have registered.

The most sought-after branches this year are Nursing, Midwifery, Sports, Informatics, Finance and English, while optimistic interest has also been observed in the Faculty of Agriculture, especially in the Food Technology branch and in teaching programs, which have achieved the minimum number necessary for their opening.

The registration process will continue with the completion of the second and third rounds.

Meanwhile, in the same period, applications for scientific and professional master's programs were also completed, with a total of 463 applications.

148 candidates have registered for the scientific master's degree, while 315 for the professional one.

According to faculties, the most sought-after is the Faculty of Education with 200 applications, followed by the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Humanities with 135, the Faculty of Economics with 88, and the Faculty of Agriculture with 40 applications.

Some programs, such as the Master of Science in Agricultural Sciences, Special Education, and Elementary Education, have exceeded admission quotas, while other master's degrees still have vacancies./ CNA
