WHO: At least 3,300 dead and over 30,000 injured in war against Iran

The World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean, Hanan Balkhi, said today that in the first weeks of the war between the United States and Israel against Iran, at least 3,300 people have been killed and more than 4.3 million have been displaced.

In a press conference, Balkhi stated that over 30,000 people have been injured in these clashes and 116 confirmed attacks on medical facilities have been recorded.

She added that these clashes have created one of the most widespread crises in recent decades and have so far resulted in the deaths of a large number of civilians.

These comments come as the war between the United States and Iran continues since February 28./ CNA
