For the week ahead, the penetration of a deep center of atmospheric pressure is expected over our country, accompanied by moist but also cold air masses.

The penetration of this deep center into the Mediterranean Sea will result in high amounts of humidity (saturation of the air with water vapor) and days with high intensity rain. Also, due to the cold air masses of Polar origin and their entry into the Mediterranean sea, there will be snowfall, which in the mountainous reliefs will be up to and dense.

In this way, for the next day, the weather is predicted to be clear with few transitory clouds.

Then for Tuesday and until Friday (and not only because an unstable atmospheric situation is expected for Saturday as well), the weather is predicted to be mostly cloudy and dense. However, short-term clearings are not excluded here, mainly for Tuesday and Thursday.

Rainfall is expected for Tuesday, which in the northwest will be of medium to high intensity, in the rest of the country with low to medium intensity. For Wednesday, rains in the northwest continue with medium and high intensity, but high-intensity rains cover a large part of the territory in the afternoon and evening hours.

For Thursday, precipitation is predicted until noon with medium intensity, while in the mountain reliefs in the north and east at heights above 900-1000 meters there is snowfall with low and medium intensity. Meanwhile, on Friday, rainfall with medium and high intensity is expected in the northwest area, while in the rest of the territory medium to high.

Also, for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, very intense wind is expected from the south quadrant with an average speed of 5-12 m/s and along the coastline and the valley wind with a speed of up to 22-26 m/s, accompanied with high waves in seas of force 5-7 front./ CNA
