World Universal Health Day/ Students in Vlora march along the boulevard

April 7 is World Health Day. For students of the Faculty of Public Health at the University of Vlora, Nursing Department, it is also a day that focuses on raising public awareness about the importance of a comprehensive health system, where no one is left behind.

On this day, they conducted free medical checkups for passing citizens, such as blood pressure measurements and diabetes tests.

Floviana Korçari, a student at UV, said that there was no lack of interest from citizens. The message of the day was clear: Health is a fundamental right, not a privilege.

Meanwhile, dozens of young people from the "Ismail Qemali" University marched this Monday along the "Ismail Qemali" Boulevard with awareness-raising banners in the name of health, in the name of life. Organized by the Student Council, the activity on World Health Day, according to the head of this Council, Altea Hoxhaj, is taking place for the first time in Vlora./CNA
