Known as the city of flowers, this year Pogradec is one of the most favorite cities for local and foreign tourists to spend their holidays. This is thanks to the investments made by the mayor, Ilir Xhakolli. Anyone who has visited Pogradec in recent years has noticed obvious changes in both infrastructure and services. This has not escaped even the well-known businessman Gjergj Luca, who in a post on his social network has posted a video traveling by the lake, as he sees the changes made in this city and what it offers to spend holidays quiet at low cost. Luca identifies the public beaches that you rarely find in other cities, the price of a deck chair that does not exceed 6 thousand lek, or the reasonable prices offered by bars and restaurants, and this is thanks to the control made by the municipal institutions that do not leave the possibility for abuses.

 "You see what happens, public beach, grass, only flowers, happy people, respectful people, wonderful people. The most beautiful thing is that the mayor of Pogradec, holds a meeting with the owners of the premises once in two weeks, like in the time of communism, and he is told that there are no prices for umbrellas more expensive than 600 lek, he checks the menus," says Luca.

Indirectly playing with words, Luca addresses the citizens by telling them that this is the mayor they need.

"What do you want this mayor for, get rid of him, because he is a communist and his menus are controlled so that you don't raise prices, his beds are also controlled, so that you don't raise prices for beds and hotels. That's why you stay full?

The businessman Luca does not forget to have a message for the mayors of the coastal cities, where the prices for this tourist season have gone to the stratosphere, while the services they offer leave much to be desired, take an example from the mayor of Pogradec

"O mayors, you VIPs of big cities, who don't know what's going on with your city, come take an example in Pogradec, in this place full of flowers, the only one who knew how to translate Lasgushi's poems and has filled with flowers, with air. The prices are cheap and everything checks out. 

Don't sit around like a VIP who doesn't control anything in your cities. This friend of mine who controls the city is a communist," says Luca. /CNA
