Do you really need animal proteins?

I communicate from time to time with friends and patients who are concerned that perhaps their vegetarian diet is not able to meet their protein needs.

But do they have a right to worry?

In fact, vegetables are an optimal source of nutrients, but in addition they are also healthier. 

People who consume high amounts of plant protein are significantly less vulnerable to disease and health problems, look younger and live longer.

I am describing some of them for my followers:

Spinach: It's full of nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin K, and vitamin C, which support a healthy immune system, protect vision, promote blood circulation, and more.

Broccoli: Contains protein with all essential amino acids, high amounts of flavonoids, antioxidants with anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer effects.

Asparagus: They are vegetables with high protein content, low amounts of carbohydrates, excellent source of folate and vitamin A.

Green peas: They are also a very good source of fiber.

Brussels sprouts: Contains fiber, protein and several vitamins and nutrients to keep you feeling full and nourished.

Green cabbage: Contains high amounts of vitamin K, which is important for blood and bone health.

Cauliflower: They are a rich source of vitamin C, vitamin K. They also contain some calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus.

You can eat them cooked, pickled, alive!
