The Zogaj tourist village welcomed for 2 consecutive days a series of activities dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of preserving the environment and biodiversity, organized by the National Agency for Protected Areas, in collaboration with the Municipality of Shkodra.

Under the motto "Let's celebrate nature's treasures together", children and families were introduced to the unique values ??of Lake Shkodra, through workshops on traditional cooking, educational games, a photo exhibition on flora and fauna, film screenings, music, and nature walks with stories passed down from generation to generation.

"The natural values ??that the National Agency for Protected Areas has tried to protect and promote are a good job that has been done. Here we are today, in this activity that comes as a festival of Lake Shkodra, with a focus on protected areas. We are focused on children, as they are the heirs and new managers of protected areas. These are reasons to be proud of what awaits us in the future. Of course, there are also problems, such as logistics, waste management, etc. We are trying to do our best, first of all for the local community, and then why not for the visitors as well", said the coordinator of the activity, Elton Çaushi.
