Claims for diaspora votes/ Balla-Noka: O Flamur, we will beat you again in 2029

The Chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, reopened this Thursday in the Assembly the opposition's claims of manipulation of votes from the diaspora in the May 11 elections.

In his speech, Balla addressed the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka.

Balla said that the SP has defeated the DP with results all over the world and that it will defeat the Democrats again in the 2029 elections.

"Regarding the diaspora vote, we have defeated you, Flamur, all over the world. From America to Canada, from Great Britain to Europe, yes, you will also defeat you in Australia and we will defeat you again in 2029. I am sorry that we do not have the diaspora votes for the local elections. But I know, as you also know, that you have addressed the Special Prosecutor's Office with a report regarding what is the organizational part of the Socialist Party within the framework of the election campaign for the diaspora vote. You have also received the response of the investigation. And on that response of the investigation for non-initiation, you have not even filed a complaint with the Special Court, because the procedure, according to the Code of Criminal Procedure, provides that when the party does not agree with the decision, it goes and appeals", - said Balla. /CNA
