Western Balkan leaders gather in London today / Prime Ministers Rama and Kurti

The leaders of the six Western Balkan countries will gather today in London as part of the Berlin Process Summit.

Prime Minister Edi Rama and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti will also be part of the roundtable.

This year's summit focuses on issues of security, economic development, and migration.

The leaders of the Western Balkans are also expected to sign agreements among themselves in the field of energy.

Prime Minister Edi Rama is also expected to deliver his speech.

15:40-Panel of Western Balkan leaders on topics related to: Growth, Migration and Security

Prime Minister Edi Rama will also give a speech at this panel.

16:00- Closing of the plenary session.

The Berlin Process is an initiative aimed at enhancing regional cooperation in the Western Balkans and assisting the integration of the Western Balkan countries into the European Union. It was launched and presented on 28 August 2014 by former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The Berlin Process is being developed with the support of the European Commission, international financial institutions and the member states involved in the Process: Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and the United Kingdom together with the Western Balkan countries./ CNA
