Departures from the DP/Mziu: They have seen their personal interest, they are being bought by Rama

Democratic MP, Xhelal Mziu, shared his position today regarding the recent departures from the Democratic Party.

Invited to A2CNN, Mziu stated that these people did not leave because they did not find themselves in the DP, but rather because they saw their own personal interest.

Mziu accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of not giving up his habit of buying off certain individuals.

"These people did not leave because they did not find themselves in the Democratic Party, but they saw their personal interest. Secondly, today we have a prime minister who does not give up his habit of buying even when he needs to. He buys votes and citizens. This is a device used by the prime minister to intimidate the rest of the Democrats and to say that the Democrats want to be part of the government. But, I emphasize that these cases do not spoil the image of the opposition," said Mziu./CNA
