Sheynnis Alondra Palacios Cornejo nga Nikaragua është shpallur si “gruaja më e bukur në botë”. 

Palacios ka hyrë në histori pasi të dielën ajo u bë gruaja e parë nga Nikaragua e shpallur Miss Universe.

Ajo gjithashtu mund të cilësohet si bukuroshja perfekte dhe shumë e zgjuar, dhe kjo ishte evidente me përgjigjen e saj ndaj pyetjes “nëse do të mund të jetonit një vit në këpucët e një gruaje tjetër, kë do të zgjidhnit dhe pse?”

Konkursi vjetor i bukurisë u zhvillua në kryeqytetin e Salvadorit, San Salvador, ndërsa shoqëruesja e parë u rendit Anntonia Porsild nga Tajlanda.

Shqipëria prezantohej në këtë event nga bukuroshja Endi Demneri.
