Eurovision/ Britain will offer 3000 tickets to Ukrainians

The British government will offer 3,000 Eurovision tickets to Ukrainians already out of the country after their country was unable to host them due to Russia's invasion.

The government also announced it will provide £10 million in funding to support the Eurovision Song Contest in May, which Britain is hosting on behalf of Ukraine.

This year's Eurovision will be held in Liverpool, in the north of England. Ukraine won the competition in 2022 and would normally be the country to host it next year. Britain came second last year.

"Today's announcement means thousands of tickets will be made available to those displaced by war so they can attend an event that honors their homeland, their culture and their music," the Secretary said.
