American President Joe Biden has made another blunder during the annual White House ceremony before the Thanksgiving holiday. The president who celebrated his 81st birthday a day ago, while speaking to reporters, confused the two singers Britney Spears with Taylor Swift.

He used the name Britney in an apparent reference to Taylor Swift's current tour overseas.

Sky News reports that the president referred to Swift's tour in Brazil but mentioned Britney's name.

" Just to get here, Liberty and Bell had to overcome some tough odds and competition. They had to work hard, show patience and be willing to travel over 1,000 miles. You could say it's even harder than to get a ticket to the Renaissance tour or, or the Britney tour. She's down, it's kind of warm in Brazil right now ," Biden said.

Britney Spears is not currently on tour and neither is Beyonce who finished her Renaissance Tour in October. However, Swift is in the middle of an international tour. Swift postponed her concert in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday due to the extreme heat that has taken over Brazil this November.

Two days ago, a 23-year-old fan died during the singer's tour.
