Ballet performance at TKOB/ "Lola" on stage for Women's Day

The National Opera and Ballet Theater brings the play "Lola" to the stage this weekend.

A ballet about love, betrayal and revenge. Against the backdrop of the Spanish people's struggle against the French occupation, the story of Lola unfolds, a beautiful, strong girl caught in a whirlwind of feelings and sacrifice.

Lola enters the French camp with a clear mission, revenge. With courage and determination, she fulfills her oath, turning personal pain into a collective call.

"Lola" comes as a dramatic ballet, where the passion of love collides with the turmoil of war. And it is a woman who becomes the central figure of the resistance.

This piece, which comes to the stage in March, the International Women's Day, is a message of her dignity and sacrifice as a major force in society.

The play returns to the TOB stage after 25 years. With music by Sergei Vasilenko, choreography by Genc Shkodrani and conducting by Gridi Kraja, the audience can see it on March 7 and 8, at 7:00 PM./ CNA
