A warehouse was engulfed in flames this Sunday evening, in the village of Levand in Mallakastër.

Due to the presence of hydrocarbon substances of the former Oil Plant, the spread of flames has been favored, causing only material damage.

Meanwhile, the Police and Fire Services are at the scene and are working to extinguish the fires.

Police Notification:

Around 19:00, in the village of Lavdan, Ballsh, a fire broke out in the premises of a private warehouse. In this warehouse, it is suspected that due to the presence of hydrocarbon materials from the former Oil Plant, the spread of flames was favored, causing only material damage.

Police and fire services are at the scene and are working to extinguish the fires. The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the case./ CNA
