The police have prevented a possible criminal event in Kurbin.

In connection with this case, a 53-year-old man was arrested, who is suspected of killing his cousin.

The police announced that the 53-year-old man was driving a motorcycle without license plates, armed with a pistol and ammunition, looking for his cousin.

He had previously threatened to kill his cousin and the latter had filed a police report.

Police notification:

The services of the Kurbin Police Station, immediately after the report administered by citizen MF, 50 years old, resident of the village of Gjormë, Kurbin, that due to a conflict, his cousin, citizen LF, 53 years old, had threatened his life with a firearm and because of this fact he was afraid to go to the apartment, they immediately organized the work to prevent the incident, to catch and handcuff the perpetrator.

Thanks to quick professional actions, based on police intelligence and control of the territory within the "Cousin" operation, the services of the Kurbin Police Station in cooperation with the National Security Forces, Shkodër Unit, made it possible to locate the suspected perpetrator, citizen LM , 53 years old, on the village road near the residence of citizen MF

The Police Services intervened professionally by neutralizing and arresting the 53-year-old man in the act, who was driving a motorcycle without license plates, armed with a pistol with cartridges and a knife, looking for his cousin, 50-year-old MF, with the intention to kill him.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Lezhë, for the criminal offenses "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Unauthorized production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons" ” and “Intimidation.”/ CNA
